Ashton to donate high-vis vests

Specsavers high visibility vests to keep children safe
Local groups could make use of high visibility vests

The Ashton store at Ladysmith Shopping Centre is supporting Road Safety Week this year by providing high-visibility vests to hundreds of local schools and groups such as Brownies, Guides and Scouts.

Dark mornings and evenings

At this time of year with the dark mornings and nights, combined with increasingly wintry weather, it can be difficult for motorists to see pedestrians. Many children are walking home from school at dusk, which is a particularly hazardous time.

Easier for motorists to spot

The optician is pledging its commitment to road safety by providing high-visibility vests, which will improve the safety of children when out and about by making it easier for motorists to spot them.

Get in touch

The store has high-visibility vests available to donate. Please get in touch if you or your group could make use of them.
