Opticians cycle to save lives
Staff in Tavistock have completed a sponsored cycle ride in aid of Devon Air Ambulance Trust.
Making a difference
Three members of the team cycled 12 miles from Tavistock to Yelverton and back again, raising £133 for the local charity. The sun was shining for the cyclists, who were joined by three other enthusiastic riders and two children.
Great day out
Store director, Sarah Routly, said: ‘The cycle ride was a huge success and the team had a blast. It was a lovely day out for the children and they even stopped at the Rock Inn for a quick refuel in Yelverton before riding home. We’re pleased to have contributed in some small way to a local initiative that saves lives.’
