Stourport Specsavers is hoping to raise vital funds for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity by hosting a spec-tacular Christmas raffle.
The team at the High Street have more than 20 prizes to be won, including a watercolour painting of Worcester by a local artist and a £50 Specsavers voucher. Local businesses have contributed a hamper of Christmas goodies, wine, candles and toiletries, plus a £25 beauty voucher.
The raffle runs from the end of November until Monday 21 December with ticket strips available for a donation of £1.
Store director, Tim Reeves, said: 'We’ve raised hundreds of pounds this year for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. We’d like to thank all the local businesses who have supported us and our generous customers who have bought tickets.
‘We have some great prizes for our Christmas raffle, so please pop into the store and help us to make this the biggest fundraiser of the year.’
The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity relies completely on the public and local businesses to fund its work. The organisation is one of the busiest of its kind in the UK and responds to an average of 2,000 missions every year.
