The Sutton in Ashfield team have raised £213 for Children in Need with a dress-up day in store.

Customers visiting the store had a pleasant surprise on Friday 13 November, as they were greeted by staff dressed up as childhood heroes to raise cash for the BBC’s corporate charity.

Nigel Davidson, store director, said: ‘We have a wonderful team at the store who always get on board with fundraising initiatives, and this event was no different. From Michael Jackson and Fireman Sam, to Alice in Wonderland and Willy Wonka, we had every childhood favourite you can think of, even our very own Pudsey bear.’

BBC Children in Need provides grants to projects in the UK which focus on children and young people who are disadvantaged. Thanks to the support of the public it’s able to make a real difference to the lives of children all across the UK.
