The team in Barnstaple are swapping their ophthalmoscopes for a field to support the North Devon Show.

Eyecare advice

On Wednesday 6 August, staff from Specsavers, will be setting up at the North Devon Show. The store will be offering eyecare advice and talking about the importance of good eyesight. They will also be offering long distance sight checks.

Emily Waters, store director, said: ‘The North Devon show is very popular in the region and we are very lucky to be positioned there for the weekend to talk about eye health. We are keeping our fingers crossed for some sunshine.’

Supporting healthy active lifestyles

‘Everyone at the store is looking forward to being there, supporting not only healthy active lifestyles but also highlighting the importance of good eyesight.’

The North Devon show is the premier agricultural spectacle. The annual event is a celebration of North Devon’s agricultural roots. A host of livestock classes occupy the arenas throughout the day with alpacas, cattle, horses, sheep, show jumping and open dog show. Attractions, displays, demonstrations and trade stands for all.
