Sale celebrates £400,000 store expansion
Specsavers in Sale is delighted to announce that after weeks of work, their newly renovated and expanded store located in Town Square Shopping Centre is open to the public.
The store refit is the result of a £400,000 investment, and is the next step in the store’s ongoing commitment to providing the Sale community with the most advanced eye and hearcare possible, as well as creating a number of new jobs in the area.
The expansion has resulted in a wider range of appointments which are available seven days a week, as well as brand new designated collection and contact lens areas which will cut waiting times. There are also 300 additional frames available in their range.
In order to cater to the increasing number of hearing aid wearers, the store now has its first dedicated hearcare hub, a soundproof room which provides staff and customers with the latest in hearcare technology. The store now also has double the number of testing rooms, expanding from three to six.
The store has made huge advancements in technology, as their digital precision eyecare dispensing will now be carried out through the use of iPads; ensuring customers are given the most accurate measurements for their frames.
Retail director Steven Dare said; “We are incredibly pleased with the developments the store has made as a result of this expansion. The Sale community have been loyal customers of Specsavers for years, and we are really looking forward to seeing what they think of the new look.
‘This expansion gives us the opportunity to create even more jobs, allowing us to train new staff in a store where the latest in eyecare and hearcare technology is at their disposal.’
