A local opticians has pledged to raise vital funds for RSPCA York and District Branch throughout 2015.

An ongoing partnership
The team at Specsavers in York is choosing to back the charity to show support for its continued hard work to rehome animals and raising awareness of issues for animals.

Staff at Specsavers on Low Ousegate kicked off the partnership by hosting a fundraising day in-store.

A word from the director
Deryck Watts, store director at Specsavers in York, says: ‘As a longstanding business serving our local community for [insert number] years, we feel it is important to make a New Year’s resolution to raise money for a local charity.

‘RSPCA York and District Branch is a great cause which benefits so many local people. We just hope our loyal customers will support us to make this partnership a runaway success in 2015.’
