Optician support raises vital funds for charity
Staff at the Northallerton Specsavers were fundraising for Northallerton & District Voluntary Service Association throughout 2014, raising over £1,000.
An amazing achievement
The team at Specsavers in Northallerton recently met with the charity to present them with the total funds of £1,336.00 that were raised last year.
The charity provides advice, information, training and support to volunteers and voluntary and community groups in the local area, as well as services for local people.
Funds raised go to supporting projects including village hall rebuilds, establishing new youth groups, events and festivals and the development of new health support groups.

Ruth Bargate, store director at Specsavers in Northallerton, said: ‘We’re absolutely thrilled with the support we’ve had from the local community.
'To raise a total of just over £1,300 is a fantastic achievement. It’s nice to be part of something so important to the local community.’
