High vis vests can keep children safer as evening get darker
Local groups who can make use of high vis vests

This Road Safety Week, Specsavers Wilmslow has pledged to do its bit to keep children safe while out and about after dark. The opticians has pledged to donate a number of high visibility vests to local schools and groups such as Brownies, Guides and Scouts.

Wintry weather and dark nights

With the dark mornings and nights and increasingly wintry weather, it can be difficult for motorists to see pedestrians at this time of year. Many children walk home from school at dusk, which is a particularly hazardous time.

Improve the safety of children

Specsavers is pledging its commitment to road safety by providing high-visibility vests, which will improve the safety of children when out and about by making it easier for motorists to spot them.
