A month of dedicated fundraising has seen Specsavers opticians in Altrincham raise £1000 for a local charity which provides care for adults and children with special needs, the Seashell Trust

Fundraising

Staff raised cash by putting on a bake sale and setting up collection boxes in store, encouraging customers to donate to the cause.  

Strong workforce

Staff at the store rallied around to make sure they reached their target of £1000. Store director, Tom Phillips said: 'I'm very proud of the staff here'.

Improving care for adults and children with special needs

Money will go toward improving vital services for adults and children. Jean West, who heads up the charity said: 'we are delighted with the effort Specsavers in Altrincham has put in. This extra cash will make the world of difference to us. We really do rely on donations like this to keep up our important work so it's great to have their support.'
