Specsavers in Omagh has unveiled a newly refurbished and expanded optician and hearing centre following an investment of £150,000 by store directors Donna Harbison and Emma Finn.
The revamped and re-configured store located in Omagh’s busy Market Street features an additional test room and will enable Specsavers to offer additional clinics and services including a weekly hearcare clinic and new iHarmony technology.
An integral part of the investment roll-out is the recruitment of six new staff members including an optometrist and five optical assistants.
Investing for patients and staff
Store director and optometrist Donna Harbison explained, ‘In the past 12 months we’ve seen our practice expand by 15% and believed it was essential to invest in the future for both patients and staff.’
Improved range of clinics and services
Fellow store director and dispensing optician Emma Finn said, ‘We’re delighted to be up and running in time for the busy Autumn/Winter period and to be able to offer an improved range of clinics and services to people locally.
