Specsavers staff Daniella Gardner (administrator) and Julia Harper (secretary) put on their walking boots and completed the 22 mile long Bridgnorth Walk.
About the Bridgnorth Walk
The Bridgnorth Walk is an annual not for profit event which brings together up to 1200 members of the community. The race takes place every year and battles the challenging incline that is Brown Clee. For more information please visit http://www.bridgnorthwalk.org/index.html.
With backing from sponsors, they were determined to complete the whole walk. Daniella chose to donate to cancer charity, Cancer Research, while Julia fundraised for Dogs Trust.
Teresa Hughes, store director of Specsavers Bridgnorth, said: ‘We are so proud of Daniella and Julia. The money they have raised will contribute towards the vital work completed by these charities. It is great to see members of our team out and about promoting active lifestyles and also helping to make a change to a huge number of lives.’
