Business booming year on from fire
Almost a year on since a fire badly damaged an opticians and hearing centre, staff at Specsavers Coventry are celebrating success.
The store re-opened in March this year after a fire devastated the premises, meaning a complete refurbishment was needed. The newly fitted out store, with 10 optical test rooms and a dedicated hearing centre with three test rooms, has seen more than 6,000 customers over the last 10 months.
‘It’s hard now to believe what destruction the fire caused,’ said store director Alistair Campbell.
Fellow store director Hitesh Solanki added, ‘We wanted to say thank you again to our loyal customers, staff and fellow retailers who supported us throughout the ordeal and beyond. Without them our existence simply wouldn’t be possible.’
