The team at Specsavers in Cookstown is marking the official opening of the new store on Good Friday with a packed programme of activities for all ages.

Community theatre group the ‘Dancing Grannies’ are performing a series of comedy dance routines from 12 noon onwards and the Specsavers team have organised an Easter Egg hunt in store with a range of prizes on offer. Face painting and balloon-modelling activities for children will take place from 2pm to 4pm.

Store director Natalie McGuckin said: ‘We want to officially celebrate the opening of our new store and thank our customers to date. We’re looking forward to a wonderful day for local people.’
