Staff at Northampton Specsavers raised £500 in 2019, supporting local children and young people’s charity, Lowdown.

The team held a Christmas party day on Saturday 7 December as their final charity event for the year. A raffle, tombola and festive cakes and bakes helped them reach their total.

Thanks from the store director
Store director, Jude Edwards, said: ‘Lowdown offers a vital service across Northamptonshire for young people who are struggling with their emotional wellbeing. We’re proud to have supported the charity this year and to be able to hand over £500 to help them continue their important work.

‘Huge thanks to our customers and staff for their support and hard work.’

Lowdown is a local voluntary organisation providing free and confidential counselling, emotional wellbeing, sexual health and LGBTQ support services for 11 to 25-year-olds.
