The team at Specsavers North Finchley have taken part in a health awareness day for the Oshwal Community.
Awareness in the community
The event, which was attended by healthcare experts including dentists, reflexologists, nutritionists, and of course audiologists and optometrists, attracted 2,500 members of Oshwal - a charitable organisation which promotes the protection of health among other causes-
The team from North Finchley were on hand to talk about the importance of regular eye checks and provided information on macular degeneration, cataracts, and glaucoma, as well as other common conditions which can be detected during sight checks.

Store director, Neha Shah said: 'The event was a roaring success and a great chance for us to drive awareness of the importance of regular sight checks in the local community. We were overwhelmed by the amount of people that turned up on the day and hope everyone left feeling well informed’
