Finding Dory competition winners announced
Finding Dory fans and Competition winners, 9 year old Charlotte Green from Ballyclare and 2 year old Scarlett Harris from Newtownabbey each won a special Finding Dory prize courtesy of Specsavers and Odyssey Cinemas.
The girls entered competitions in NI4Kids magazine and Q radio station respectively and won a prize package including a brand new pair of Disney spectacles and a family pass to see Finding Dory at Odyssey Cinemas along with a Finding Dory goodie bag.
The competition marked the launch of Specsavers new ‘Finding Dory’ collection of glasses for girls and boys alongside the new hit film Finding Dory which was entertaining children and their parents at cinemas throughout Northern Ireland this summer.
A great fit for young faces
The Finding Dory collection includes four different underwater-inspired frames so kids can channel their favourite fishy characters. Smart and colourful frames feature Nemo, Dory and Hank the octopus swimming amongst seaweed or in the deep blue sea.
Designed to ensure the best anatomical fit for young faces, the Finding Dory specs range are priced at £64 and are free for under-16s with an NHS optical voucher. All come fitted with flex-hinges and scratch resistant lenses with a UV filter. Plus children can also choose an additional free pair of frames in the Specsavers’ kids get two free pairs offer.
Free eye test for under-16s
At Specsavers all under-16s get a free NHS eye test and all glasses in Specsavers’ kids’ £64 and teens’ £85 ranges are free with under-16s’ NHS funding. Specs wearers can also choose a second pair from the £64 or £85 range, free. Both pairs can come with single vision lenses with a scratch-resistant treatment and a UV filter, or tinted prescription lenses and a UV filter free in the second pair.
