Staff at the store will be holding a bake sale in store on Friday 10 June to raise money in aid of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).

The bake sale will support the fundraising efforts of store director, Steven Morris, who will be completing an open water swim on Sunday 12 June in support of the charity.

Team effort

The Castle to Castle Swim is a one mile open water swim across the mouth of the River Fal. Paul McGrane, store director in Falmouth, will be joining Steve as he takes on the challenge. The pair will set off from Pendennis Castle in Falmouth and finish at the St Mawes Castle on the Roseland peninsular.

A word from the director

Steve said: ‘The open water swim is a little outside of my comfort zone but knowing that the money we raise will go towards supporting the incredible work of the RNLI is great motivation. I’m very grateful to have the support of the team here in Newquay who are looking forward to welcoming customers in store to sample our cakes!’
