Specsavers Ashby has a new store manager who will be a familiar face to customers.
Becca Ward-Rotherham, who has worked at the store for five years, has now stepped up to take on day to day running of the store. Starting out as an optical advisor, she’s also held the role of store supervisor and will now oversee the 16-strong team, ensuring they provide the very best optical and audiology care to local people.
‘I’m excited to have taken on this new role and I’m looking forward to working with the entire team,’ said Becca. ‘We’ve just extended our opening hours so we’re now open until 7.30 pm on Wednesdays and until 5 pm on Sundays which means there’s even more flexibility to ensure people can come into the store around their busy working and family lives.
‘Customers can now also take advantage of an enhanced eye test which uses 3D scanning technology to view the eye in more detail than ever before. Using an Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) machine, which is usually found in hospital eye departments, conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy can be screened and managed.’
