New manager in the frame
The team at Specsavers Brownhills has been boosted by the appointment of new staff members, including a new store manager.
Susanna Vass comes to the store with more than 15 years optical experience. Prior to joining the Brownhills team, Susanna worked at the Sutton Coldfield store, training and qualifying as a dispensing optician. Working alongside Justine Page, who joined the team as store director earlier this year, the pair are focused on putting customers first.
Providing the best possible eye care
‘I have been part of the Specsavers family for a long time, but different stores bring different opportunities and challenges,’ commented Susanna. ‘I’m delighted to be working as a part of such a fantastic team, and with the support of Justine, I’m looking forward to helping the business continue to grow and thrive, providing the best possible eye care to our local community.’
Alongside Susanna’s new role, Heather Tailerson has been promoted to assistant store manager from store supervisor and the team has welcomed two new optical apprentices - Sarah Franks and Kavan Chauhan. Both will complete a Level 2 Diploma in Optics to qualify as retail optical assistants.
Justine added: ‘We’re proud to have such a strong and experienced team here and are delighted to welcome our new recruits into their roles. Our focus in store is to make people aware of the importance of eye health and to provide accessible and affordable care, and I’m confident that our new team members will help us to continue to do so.’
