National Eye Health Week in Brixham
Specsavers Brixham encouraged the community to donate their old glasses to eyecare charity Vision Aid Overseas during National Eye Health Week (21 to 27 September).
Specsavers, located on Fore Street raised awareness of the charity during the week, which provides eyecare services to people in Africa.
Specsavers Brixham store director, Dr Chibuzor Rogers-Uwadi said: ‘It’s essential that we continue to support charities like Vision Aid Overseas who provide eyecare services to those in developing countries.
‘National Eye Health Week was a great opportunity for us to raise awareness of the cause and we're grateful to everyone who came in to donate their old specs.'
