Specsavers team raises more than £250 for Breast Cancer Care

Specsavers Kingswood hosted a range of activities throughout Breast Cancer Care Week, raising more than £250 for the charity.

Joining forces with colleagues at the Fishponds store, staff cooked up an array of sweet treats for their cake sale. Visitors to the stores also took part in a raffle to win chocolates and a Body Shop hamper.

‘We’re very proud to have received so much support throughout Breast Cancer Care Week,’ said Kevin Clancy, store director at Kingswood and Fishponds Specsavers. ‘We collectively raised £268 for Breast Cancer Care and I’d just like to say a massive thank you to all of our customers who generously made donations.’

Breast Cancer Care is a national charity which aims to deliver the best treatment, information and support to people affected by breast cancer. Alongside offering emotional and practical support, the charity also helps to promote the importance of early detection and brings together people affected by the disease.
