Young children from Monmouth have taken part in a colouring competition run by the Specsavers store in Monnow Street, Monmouth.

Colourful creations

Children sent their colourful creations in for staff at the store to judge. 15 entries were received from children as young as 18 months to 10 years of age.

A worthy winner

After much deliberation, the chosen winner was Austin Given, aged four from Monmouth. Austin was over the moon with his prizes of Easter chocolate goodies and a colouring set.

Louise Harvey, director said: ‘The colouring competition was a great success. Picking the best entry was very difficult but we all agreed that Austin’s picture was a worthy winner. I am sure he will enjoy his prizes!’
