Specsavers in Minehead have helped pupils stay safe at night by donating high visibility vests to a local nursery school.

Cheeky Cherubs nursery

The store promised the vests to 30 children at Cheeky Cherubs nursery. They also donated a further 40 vests to Minehead First School.

Store director Philippa Hales says: ‘We want to make sure that children are safe and visible at night as winter is fast approaching.

Safer evenings

‘The clocks have changed, so we hope our donation will help keep parents’ minds at ease when they’re escorting their children to and from school.’
