KIitted out in bright red comedy glasses with hair raising eyebrows and their iconic red noses, Middlebrook Specsavers staff and customers were laughing it up as the store raised £200 for Red Nose Day.

Visitors to the Specsavers store at Middlebrook Retail Park followed in the footsteps of Gok Wan and made their faces funny for money with Specsavers’ official Red Nose Day glasses.

Funny for Money

Kevin Juste, store manager of Specsavers Middlebrook, said: ‘As a team we thoroughly enjoyed making our faces funny for money in support of the great work that Comic Relief does and it was fantastic to see so many customers join in the fun!

‘We certainly raised more than a few colourful smiles with staff dressed in their finest red outfits and comedy glasses.

‘Thank you to everyone who came down to make the event such a good giggle for a great cause.’

A great cause

Specsavers in Middlebrook joined Specsavers stores nationwide to support Comic Relief to help poor and vulnerable people living tough lives both here in the UK and across Africa.

From painting their faces to donning the Specsavers funny specs millions of people up and down the country made their faces funny and raising life changing cash. The money raised through Red Nose Day (Friday 13th March) helps poor and vulnerable people living incredibly tough lives both here in the UK and across Africa.
