Mexborough Specsavers celebrates eight years
One of the most successful stores in Mexborough celebrated eight years of trading with an in-store birthday party for residents and its customers.
The Specsavers store on York Street celebrated its milestone anniversary by hosting a range of fun activities for customers to get involved with, including a raffle, where three lucky customers won a pair of single vision glasses worth £99 each.
Visitors to the store on its birthday were entertained by a balloon artist and face painter, while indulging in freshly made cupcakes, which were given out by the Specsavers team.
Eight years with lots of changes
Lorna Armitage, store director at Specsavers in Mexborough, comments: ‘We’ve seen lots of changes in Mexborough over the last eight years and the team has always worked hard to put customers first.
‘We’re really enjoyed celebrating this milestone anniversary with a day filled with fun for our customers. I’d like to thank all local residents for coming along to help us mark the occasion.
Pledges to continue to deliver exceptional service
‘We pledge to continue to deliver exceptional service combined with an outstanding selection of frames at affordable prices. This approach is a winning formula and we look forward to many more years of trading.’
Specsavers in Mexborough first opened its doors in August 2006 and has seen many changes over the years. It started with four employees and the team has since grown to over 13 strong.
