Specsavers Melksham has welcomed a new store manager who’s working alongside the store’s four directors. The team, which is now made up of 18 people, are ready and waiting to support the community with their extensive knowledge in eye care services.
Richard Wilson-Hobbs – store manager
Richard joined the Melksham team in January but has worked at Specsavers Chippenham since 2013. He started there as an optical assistant and later qualified as a dispensing optician, working his way up to become an assistant manager.
During his spare time, Richard is a keen football fan and enjoys playing a game of golf every now and again.
Richard said: ‘Although I haven’t been here very long, everyone is extremely welcoming. It’s great being part of a highly dedicated team, and I’m looking forward to seeing what the future brings as a store manager, especially with the introduction of our OCT machine.’
A word from the store director
‘Richard is an excellent addition to the team,’ said Tom. ‘He’s only been with us for a month but has become a key member of staff and we’re extremely pleased to have him with us.’
