Seven years' combined service
Ellen Fletcher, Senior Optometrist and Assistant Manager, Alice Whitcher have worked at the Salisbury store for 4 and a half years' and 2 years and 7 months' respectively.
Being part of a busy team keeps them on their toes and both say the fast paced enviroment is what excites them each day.
They say: 'One day is never the same. We might be replenishing our frame displays with a brand new, hot fashion brand one moment and then chatting about the benefits of contact lenses another.
'What we both love is the customer interaction. It might be something small like fixing a broken arm on a pair of favourite sunglasses or seeing someone's life transformed with the right prescription. In rare cases, an optometrist may spot a health concern that can save someone's life and it acts to reminds us how important a 2-year sight test really is.'
From style advice to insight - here to help
Ellen and Alice welcome all kinds of questions from their customers: in fact, the more, the better! They say: 'We might have a relative asking us for help with a parent living with dementia, for example.
'We have Dementia Friends in store, so we can offer that extra level of care. Or a parent might need our help picking out frames for a child, and that's when we can enlighten them to the great ranges we have such as our Despicable Me, Gruffalo and Moana frames.
'For us, the most important thing is for every customer to leave our store feeling happy, satisfied and pleased with the level of professional service received.'
