David Macro and Neil Constantine-Smith are store directors at Specsavers in Lymington.
David Macro – retail director
David has been working at Specsavers since 2007. He has worked in retail management since 1982, when he started as a management trainee with Woolworths.
Giving the best service
David said: ‘My favourite part of the job is making the customers happy.
‘It’s important that we consistently give the highest level of customer service so that we gain loyalty and make people feel satisfied with their visit with us. We’re proud to provide eyecare services to our Lymington community.’
David is originally from Liverpool but was brought up in Darlington.
In his spare time, he enjoys skiing and is a fan of Formula 1.
Neil Constantine-Smith – optometrist director
Neil has been the optometrist director of Specsavers in Lymington since its opening in 2008.
He has always been interested in optometry, going from A-levels to university to study a degree in the profession. Optometry matched his best subjects at school and he was keen to be in a career which involved people.
Meeting new people
Neil said: ‘I thoroughly enjoy meeting new and interesting people, as well as solving problems.
‘It’s great seeing people leave the store with better vision from our fantastic range of specs and contact lenses.’
Neil enjoys spending time with his family and going to National Trust properties in his spare time. He also likes watching rugby, being a big supporter of the Leicester Tigers, kayaking, cycling and watching films.
