Specsavers Petersfield had a very special guest in store recently in the form of the Town Mayor, Councillor Lesley Farrow.
Councillor Farrow popped into the store in The Square to celebrate it receiving a massive rebrand to mark seven years since it opened, and took the opportunity to have an eye test while she was there.
The team arranged a cake and held a raffle to raise much-needed funds for Guide Dogs.
As part of the rebrand, the store has invested in an optical coherence tomography (OCT) machine. This provides hospital grade scans of the eye, and can help detect a number of conditions far earlier than traditional methods can.
Investing in customers
Jo Cox, store director in Petersfield, said: ‘We are delighted to be able to celebrate seven years in The Square by investing in our store in order to deliver an even better service and experience for our customers.
‘Being lucky enough to outgrow our existing test rooms is a really nice problem to have, and we would like to thank our customers for their loyalty since we opened – and the Town Mayor for joining us to celebrate.’
