£750 raised for stellar cause
Visitors to Oxford Specsavers were treated to a Star Wars day in-store as the team dressed up in their favourite characters, raising more than £750 in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
In honour of Dan Goodwin
The team hosted a dress up day in honour of Dan Goodwin, who sadly passed away last month from cystic fibrosis. Dan was a close friend of store director, Greg Harding.
A word from the store director
Greg said: ‘We are thrilled that we were able to raise so much money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in honour of Dan. They do brilliant work nationwide and we hope this money can contribute to helping others in need.
'Thank you to our generous customers for your support, it’s greatly appreciated.’
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust are always working towards a brighter future for everyone with cystic fibrosis by funding cutting-edge research, driving up standards of care and supporting people with the condition and their loved ones every step of the way.
