Store director Lateef Iqbal is tired but elated after his gruelling run to support Blind Veterans UK, a charity that supports visually impaired ex-servicemen and women across the country.

Running is a passion!

Not one to do things by half measure, Lateef has already completed the Hampton Court and Surrey Half Marathon, as well as the Fleet Half Marathon.  All this despite a knee injury that led to his doctor's advice to cut out a few sports, but thankfully, not running.

Says Lateef...

'It is always great to push yourself to the limit, professionally and personally, and the opportunity to run the London Marathon is such an honour.

'Doing it for Blind Veterans UK gave me that extra push when the pain and tiredness kicked in.  I have long been a supporter for this fantastic cause, and to know I am playing my small part in supporting a great cause is humbling and very satisfying.'

Lateef thanks customer support from the Alton, Camberley and Farnham stores.  For those wishing to pledge a donation, visit:
