The Specsavers stores in Week Street, Maidstone, and Sainsbury’s Larkfield recently supported a charity gold day for the local charity Kent Association for the Blind at Bearsted Golf Club.
And the charity were big winners on the day, as an amazing total of more than £3,700 was raised to support their work across the county.
Great local cause
Each of the 88 players taking part on the day received a complimentary set of branded Specsavers golf balls, and the members of the winning team received a voucher each for £99 towards a pair of glasses.
Kent Association for the Blind provide support, advice, training and guidance to over 11,000 people, and will be celebrating their centenary in 2020.
