A lady from Newbury has won a teddy bear for her grandson from Specsavers after a raffle held in aid of Breast Cancer Campaign.

Prize for a grandson

Six year-old Harry Judson, was happy to receive his bear from his grandmother, Lynette, who won the prize from the store, located on 42 Northbrook Street.

"Tatty" the bear

Lynette said: ‘Harry was very excited when I gave him “Tatty” the bear and is already the proud owner of two new pairs of Specsavers Star Wars glasses. I’d like to thank Specsavers for the excellent service that I and my family have always received from them.’

Charity fundraising week

The raffle was part of a charity fundraising week which saw the store raise vital funds for Breast Cancer Campaign. Last year, Specsavers raised a total of around £25,000 nationally for the charity.
