The Milton Keynes team of opticians turned pink on Valentine’s Day and raised £240 for Breast Cancer Campaign.

Staff located at 35-37 Silbury Arcade, held a fancy dress day and donned their finest pink attire. The team also put their baking skills to the test and treated customers to homemade cakes in exchange for donations.

Store director, Baljit Kaur, says: ‘Breast Cancer Campaign is something very close to our hearts at the Milton Keynes store and we were delighted to fundraise for the charity. My team worked really hard to put on a fun day and it looks like both staff and customers enjoyed themselves.’

The day was inspired by the Wear it Pink Day which is organised by Breast Cancer Campaign. In the last twenty years, the campaign to overcome breast cancer has gone from strength to strength and more women are now surviving the disease than ever before.
