Local optician celebrates cycling arrival with a charity fundraiser
A local optician and hearcare specialist has pledged to raise vital funds for Help for Heroes and gift one lucky customer with a state-of-the-art children’s bicycle.
Specsavers in Ripon has been inspired by the arrival of the cycling event that comes to the region this summer and has decided to host a fundraising raffle for Help for Heroes.
Kids bike won
The winner of the fundraising raffle will be announced on 5 July 2014. The incredible prize will be gifted to the lucky winner of the raffle, who will take home the children’s bicycle worth £150 and a helmet from Motor-World Ripon.
Nicola Nisbet, store director at Ripon Specsavers, explains: 'You can’t help but feel excited about the arrival of this summer’s cycling event. I’m sure many people will be motivated to get back in the saddle, which is the perfect opportunity for our team to gift a customer with a high-tech bike, while raising vital funds for Help for Heroes.
