20 years

Maree Moore, NHS administrator at the Specsavers store in Falmouth at 28A Market Street, has clocked up a total of 20 years of service at the store and has been rewarded for her dedication by the store directors with a meal at the Cove in Maenporth and a bouquet of flowers.

Maree has some great memories from her time in store, from helping to save the sight of some of her customers, hosting various charity fundraising days, and regularly running in the Race for life raising money for breast cancer. She also organises all the birthday cards, cakes and presents for staff members.

Glad to help generations of families

Maree says: ‘I joined the store 20 years ago full of aspirations and I have not been disappointed. I’ve built up great relationships with many of our regular customers, made some great friendships and helped whole generations of families with their eye care needs.

Great team and great customers

‘There is never a dull moment and I have seen the store go from strength to strength. ‘I honestly can’t believe where the time has gone. I can remember my first day here like it was yesterday. I feel very lucky to work with such a great team and great customers.’
