Llanelli opticians welcome Scarlets stars
An opticians in Llanelli have welcomed Scarlets rugby players Kirby Myhill and Richard Kelly to the store as part of its campaign to support Red Nose Day.

The local sporting stars joined Specsavers staff and customers at the store on Stepney Street to make their faces funny for money with Specsavers’ official Red Nose Day glasses in small or large sizes, for just £3 with £1 donated to Comic Relief.

Matthew Harvey, store director of Specsavers in Llanelli, said: ‘We were absolutely thrilled to welcome Richard and Kirby to the store to join in the fun and get behind a really fantastic campaign.
‘It’s great to have the support from the Scarlets players and we hope it will encourage our local community to drop by the store ahead of Red Nose Day to get pick up a pair of our bright red comedy glasses with hair raising eyebrows!’
Specsavers in Llanelli have joined Specsavers stores nationwide to support Comic Relief to help poor and vulnerable people living tough lives both here in the UK and across Africa.
Whether it’s at home, work or school, the public are being encouraged to make their faces funny for money this Red Nose Day, which takes place on Friday 13 March.
