The team from Leamington Spa Specsavers has donated 100 high-visibility snap bands to a local primary school to ensure the students are visible during the winter months.

The initiative is focused on helping local children stand out on the roads, ensuring that they remain visible to motorists.

Store director, Lena Thakor, said: ‘We’re so pleased that Coten End Primary School in Warwick invited us to handover the snap bands. These bands mean that children are far more visible when out on the roads.

‘The safety of local children is really important to us and with the darker mornings and evenings, its more important now than ever that we are putting the safety of children first.’
