Improving pupil safety with hi-vis donation
Staff at Specsavers in Solihull and Shirley are continuing their road safety campaign by donating 700 high-visibility vests to five local schools.
Helping children be seen on the roads
As part of an initiative to keep children safe in the darker months, the sister stores have donated the vests to Our Lady of the Wayside, Blossomfield Primary, Woodlands Infants, Burman Primary, Langley School, Yewtree Primary, Knowle Academy and Katherine Leveson Primary.
A word from the store director
‘Keeping children visible during these dark days is really important – so hopefully these vests will help as they walk to and from school, or when they are out and about,’ said store director, Brad Parkes.
