Kids can be Frozen art stars at Irvine opticians
Youngsters in Irvine are being encouraged to get creative, thanks to Specsavers in the town.
The store is running a Frozen colouring competition to celebrate the launch of a collection of children’s frames themed around the hit movie.
Specsavers has teamed up with Disney UK to introduce a range of four styles of frames inspired by the animated film. Frames are priced at £64 and free for under-16s with an NHS optical voucher.
Colouring in sheets can be picked up from Specsavers in Irvine and completed entries should be handed back to the store. The winning entry will win Olaf – a cuddly version of the funny snowman in the 2013 movie.
The Frozen glasses join the existing Disney range at Specsavers, featuring such iconic characters as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, The Little Mermaid’s Ariel and Cinderella.
Specsavers Irvine store director Jim Quinn said: ‘We’re really excited about the range of new frames in store and we wanted to celebrate that by introducing a competition for youngsters.
‘Frozen is a Disney classic and we’re delighted to be able to get local kids involved in helping to welcome the frames to the store.’
