A Sleaford junior running club has received a donation of high-visibility kit from their local sponsor, Specsavers, to ensure that they are seen when training.

The local opticians, located at 44 Southgate, has renewed their sponsorship of the Sleaford Striders for the coming year and as part of this they visited the club to present the junior members with high-visibility light up snap armbands.

‘We are delighted to be sponsoring the Sleaford Striders for the second year running,’ said Sleaford store director Bijal Ladva. ‘We are encouraging the junior runners to wear the light up bands on their training during the darker months, along with their high-visibility clothing.

‘It was fantastic to see them running along Boston road with their bands flashing – they were definitely very visible!’
