Specsavers in Llandudno will relaunch this weekend (25 June) following an expansion which has more than doubled the size of the site and the services on offer.
The store in Victoria Centre has been a part of Llandudno town centre for 21 years and has now invested in more space and top of the range facilities to accommodate its growing customer base.
A 21 year legacy in the town
Store director Lorna Helliwell, says: ‘This investment represents our commitment to Llandudno, where we have been based for the last 21 years and supports our growing business needs by providing a larger selection of designer glasses, optical services and an expanded hearing service.
‘The new store looks great and we are able to provide an even better eye and hearcare service to the people of Llandudno.
‘We look forward to welcoming old and new customers into the refurbished store this weekend to share a celebratory slice of cake with us and toast to our long future in the town.’
More availability for customers with limited mobility
The new look store boasts seven testing rooms, including four on the ground floor meaning greater appointment availability for customers with limited mobility. Furthermore, a brand new hearcare room allows the store to double the amount of hearing clinics on offer.
The expansion also includes a contact lens area and an upgraded on site lab.
Customers will also benefit from a dedicated customer lounge area and the addition of iPads offering the latest ‘magic mirror’ technology – meaning they can check out up to four new spectacle looks at once.
With the refit complete and the new facilities now fully operational, the store has also recruited three new members of staff, including two pre-reg optometrists.
The longstanding store will celebrate its bigger and better premises with a launch party this Saturday, when staff hope that customers old and new will share in their excitement.
