Islington focus on children’s eye health
Specsavers in Islington is raising awareness of the importance of regular eye examinations from the age of three and the potential consequences of neglecting children’s eye health.
The director says
Bansi Sagar, Specsavers Islington store director says: 'Half term is upon us and we are urging all parents to make use of this valuable time and book their children in for a sight test.
It's important for eye problems to be identified as early as possible in a child’s life, because they can have a significant impact on their development and education.
Eye problems are often much easier to treat if detected while a child's vision is still developing (usually up to about seven or eight years of age). An early diagnosis will help to ensure that you and your child have access to any special support services you may need.'
