Inverness opticians offers sun advice
Inverness locals are being offered top tips for looking after their eyes this summer. Eyecare specialists at Specsavers in the town are urging people to ensure they protect their eyes when out in the sun – whether at home or abroad – by choosing quality eyewear that protects from harmful UV rays.
A word of advice from the store director
Andy Carr, store director at Specsavers Inverness, said: ‘It’s so important to look after your eyes properly in the sun – whether you’re a regular specs wearer or not.
We recommend choosing sunglasses with the CE kite mark offering 99-100 per cent UV protection – you can spot this by looking out for labelling with the mark UV 400.
The team here is happy to advise any customers on the best sunglasses options for them.’
