Generous customers visiting Specsavers Hereford helped raise more than £200 for breast cancer charity, The Haven.

A dedicated pink-themed fundraising day saw the team selling cupcakes as well as holding a ‘guess the name of the teddy bear’ competition, the winner of which was Dharmesh Patel who correctly picked the name Esme. As well as the giant bear he also won a meal for two at Miller and Carter.

‘It was a great day and everyone thoroughly enjoyed taking part,’ said store director Nialle Smith. ‘A big thank you to all our customers that supported us helping to raise £246 for a local charity that does such fantastic work to help people dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis.’
