Specsavers Dartford offer free NHS eye tests for children under 16
Specsavers Dartford are inviting parents to bring their children in store for an eye test, ahead of National Storytelling Week

With National Storytelling Week running between 30th January and 6th February, the Specsavers team in Dartford is reminding parents to bring their children for regular eye examinations so they can continue to read with clear vision.

Enjoying favourite stories with clear vision

As the nation will be celebrating books and the joy of reading, Specsavers would like to invite children in the Dartford community to book an eye examination and ensure they can continue to enjoy their favourite novels.

Store director, Kam Singh said: ‘National Storytelling Week is a great opportunity for children to put down their video games and pick up a book instead. We’d like to support this by making sure as many children as possible have clear vision.

Kids glasses and eye tests

‘We also have a great range of frame designs including Star Wars, Frozen and Marvel for kids to choose from. I’d like to invite parents to book their child an eye examination at Specsavers Dartford and help them discover even more fantastic books and a love of reading!’

At Specsavers all under-16s get a free NHS eye test. All glasses in Specsavers’ kids’ £64 and teens’ £85 ranges are free with under-16s’ NHS funding.
