Hundreds of comedy specs sold for Comic Relief

Specsavers in Reading Broad Street raised money for Comic Relief

The Specsavers store in Reading, Broad Street has sold 442 Comic Relief frames in the lead up to Red Nose Day. The total fundraising figure reached £884 with each pair of comedy glasses sold for £2.

Store director Don Watts said: ‘We are so thrilled with this result and really pleased that we were able to support Comic Relief, a charity that is very close to our hearts.

‘We couldn’t thank our local community enough for their tremendous support!’
