Specsavers opticians in Hull spent the school holidays fundraising in a bid to raise money for the Marine Conservation Society.

The team at Specsavers in Hull kept busy with a number of activities over the summer including a Finding Dory themed colouring competition and a bake sale, which helped them raise almost £100.

Dory tickets

The winner of the colouring competition was five-year-old Hull resident, Sophie Dunn.  She received a family cinema ticket to watch Finding Dory, one of this year’s most long awaited sequels.

Hull Specsavers store director, Neil Pinkey, loved how creative the entries were, and said:  ‘It was great to have so many colourful entries from our smaller customers, I always think it’s great to get them involved with instore events.

‘I’d also like to thank our fantastic customers for making our bake sale such a success. I was very impressed with the quality of baking from the team; I’m already looking forward to the next one.’
