Specsavers store director, Janet Archer, took part in a practice interview day for year 13 students at Hucknall Sixth Form Centre.
Real world experience
Leaders from the local private and public sector came together to provide valuable real-world interview experience for those in their final year of sixth form. The students are preparing for interviews later this year for university, apprenticeships and jobs.
Preparing for the future
Janet said: ‘The mock interview day is a really important part of preparing young people for life after A levels. We asked about their ambitions for the future and helped them understand how their experiences demonstrated key skills like team work and being responsible.’
Fiona Daft from Hucknall Sixth Form Centre said: ‘Thank you for giving up your time to interview our students today. Your help and support is greatly appreciated and we are very grateful that you helped to make the day a success.’
